Heartcolor was born out of a desire to turn my Canon 7D footage into looking like film. That was 2013. Over a decade later, it took inspiration from Technicolor, and built upon it. Not just three dyes, but twelve dyes for enhanced color separation and richness across the whole color spectrum. I spent countless hours scavenging for color science clues online and trying so many new techniques and failing. Finally, through the intercession of St. Jude, it has finally become what I first envisioned.
